Czech numbers 0-10

On Tuesday, my 7th graders walked me through how to pronounce Czech numbers. They also wanted to teach me how to multiply numbers, but I told them, “baby steps.” We focused on numbers zero through ten. Numbers three and four are tricky –they have that pesky ř in them.

– nula (noo-lah)

– jedna (yed-nah)

– dva (deh-vah)

– tři (tjree)

– čtyři (ch stay jree)

– pět (pee-et)

– šest (shest)

– sedm (seh-doom)

– osm (aw-soom)

– devět (deh-vee-et)

– deset (deh-set)
