When I dropped Alder off at daycare this morning, two of his teachers looked at me with stunned, silent faces. They both shook their heads. They said some kinds words that brought me out of the funk I was in. On my way to school, I ran into a fellow teacher. We caught the bus together and sat in stunned silence. We shook our heads. In Prague, the day was bright and sunny, but the mood around me was somber, gloomy. This feeling will probably last a good long while.
